Beauty review: Helena Rubinstein Magic Concealer

Helena Rubinstein Magic Concealer is definitely the best concealer I’ve tried so far. It is available in 3 different shades:

• #01 Clair
• #02 Medium
• #03 Fonce

I have it in #02 medium shade. I’ve been using it for a long time and it’s definitely one of those things worth getting. I don’t have such a big problem with dark circles (though I do have a bit of those too, but not so big) as I have with imperfections all over my face (mostly cheeks and forehead). And this concealer does a great job covering EVERYTHING I want him to cover! I usually apply it after applying my foundation (currently it is Elizabeth Arden Intervene in #02 Soft Shell shade), and after that I set everything with my compact powder. Though #02 medium is yellow, it actually blends quite good so it’s not *that* obvious on my face or anything like that. The texture is something between thick and thin, just as it should be, and it takes only small amount of it for each use.

It is a great concealer but there is one thing I didn’t like about it: during the winter time it dries my eye area if I use it there so it doesn’t look really nice. :/ To fix that, I try to moisturize that area a bit more, so it won’t be too dry and it has worked. Now, when it is warmer – I don’t have such problems. :) The packaging is a small tube which is hygienic and I prefer those concealers than those in jars.

I’m not sure about the price because I got it online for $30 which is acceptable price (I think in Croatia it costs approx. $50). The tube has 15 ml, but as I said – it lasts for so long so it’s really worth buying. Anyway, If you want something that will cover your imperfections in a perfect way – this is THE concealer for those stuff! :)

Rating: (4/5 because it dries out my eye area during the winter time, and because of the price in Croatia)
