Upcoming Fall is bringing, beside refreshment, many trendy and playful colors which will definitely make blue days better.
Essence is launching (has launched) 28 new colour&go nail polishes and I’m sure that everyone will manage to find something for themself! 

Why do I like colour&go nail polishes?
Because they have intense and playful colors. Sometimes you need only one coat to get full color, cause of the thicker formula. They’re good in terms of wuality and long lasting too.
Price – only $2.20 (Muller dugstore). You can get them for less than $2 when there are sales.
I chose three shades this time: 43 where is the party?, 55 let’s get lost and 38 choose me!

Where is the party? (43)

When I laid my eyes on this shade, I knew it has to be mine! I just loved that undefined duochrome color with tiny shimmer. It looks like purple, green and grey colors got united! It reminds me of spilled gas, the way it gleams on the road. :)
In natural daylight shimmery purple is more visible, while in artifical daylight that dusty greens shade with grey is more obvious. The color is really amazing and is applied easily with great brush. You need only one coat, but to get the full effect 2 coats are perfect.

Gorgeous blue color. It’s well pigmented so it’s necessary to apply only one coat to achive desired effect. It quite well lasting – around two days, considering you’re doing all that housework from washing dishes to something more complicated.

Gorgeous turquoise-blueish-greenish color enriched with golden, green and silver shimmer. It reminds me of the sea and Christmas at the same time. It looks quite a lot like OPI catch me in your net and Nails.Inc in fitzroy square. It’s easily applied, the brush is the way it’s suposed to be – not too soft, not too firm and you do need to apply 2 coats to get opaque color. Dries quickly and it’s quite lasting on my nails.

Yesterday I remembered that I completely forgot about my essence shopping so I’m showing it to you now. I got three essence colour&go nail polishes and I have to say they have some very pretty shades!

Indoor these shades look kinda ordinary. but outside in direct sunlight, they look lovely!

These shades are perfect everyday shades and are also suitable for my work. They aren’t so obviously vivid like some shades I own :D

After I did spend more then I intended with 50′s GIRLS Reloaded collection, I’m going back to my rule ‘one item per LE collection’ so I got only this nail polish from Ballerina Backstage collection. I have to say I really like the packaging of this whole collection – it’s really good in terms of quality, better then the packagin of their products in regular range.

Nail polishes from this collection contain 10 ml, unlike nail polishes from 50′s GIRLS Realoded collection which contain 15 ml.

05 Grand-Plie In Black is basically a pure black shade with orange smaller/finer particles in it. It takes two coats to achieve opaque color on nails and it does apply nicely. Those orange particles come out much more when the nail polish is completely dry. I don’t know how long-lasting is it, we’ll see, but it won’t probably matter cause I believe this collection will be sold out.

essence 50′s GIRLS Reloaded Swatches Part I.

Yesterday I visited another Kozmo drugstore and I picked 2 more items from this collection – 02 I’m Sailing lipstick and 02 Back To The 50′s nail polish!

02 I’m Sailing lipstick is a true salmon shade and though I’m not sure it really fits me :D I picked it anyway cause I’m pretty sure I’ll manage to use it with some of my future looks. Unfortunately, it looks a bit too orange on my first 2 photos, but the swatch on my lips is most realistic!

I also picked red nail polish just because I love red nail polishes – my favorite shade! 02 Back To The 50′s nail polish is a true red shade, it’s cool toned which is most visible with the 1st layer. Lovely retro red shade!

And to end this post – here’s my comparison of essence lipstick from this collection with MAC lipstick where you can see how similar they are! The only difference is – MAC packaging is heavier and better :)

MY local drugstore Kozmo had a new essence collection on their display – 50′s GIRLS Reloaded! This is a gorgeous retro navy collection with mostly blueish colors with a hint of red and gray! You can see its promo photos right here, BUT, let me warn you – those photos are way off when it comes to accuracy.
You can see my picks on the photo above, and this time I decided to pick more than just one item which obviously means I broke my rule of getting only one item per LE collection :D Here’s what I got:

• lipstick in 01 Back To The 50′s
• nail polish in 05 You’re A Heartbreaker
• eye pencils in 01 You’re A Heartbreaker i 03 Love Me Tender

01 Back To The 50′s lipstick (17,90kn / $3.50 / 2,50€) – this is a gorgeous retro red shade, it looks gorgeous, applies also gorgeous :D and it has a lovely packaging which is actually a knock off of MAC lipsticks, lol. :D Not that I mind that much, but it’s actually getting really funny how much essence and catrice copy other brands when it comes to packaging. Never mind, this lipstick is much better thn the ones in their regular line.

05 You’re A Heartbreaker nail polish (15,90kn / $3.00 / 2,10€) – I was planning on getting China Glaze Concrete Catwalk shade from their Metro collection for Fall, but now I’ll skip it since I got this one. It contains micro shimmer, it looks really nice and you can expect my swatch soon! Also, this nail polish is huge compared to their other nail polishes – it contains 15 ml! The packaging is also pretty, but we’ve seen it already, haven’t we? Hint: Sephora by OPI nail polishes.

comparison: essence multi dimension 8ml vs. essence 50′s GIRLS Reloaded 15ml

These eye pencils are unusual, but VERY pretty shades! I have to admit I was surprised with their formula – not too thick, not too thin, they really do apply nicely. And they both have this velvety-metallic shine. 01 You’re A Heartbreaker (8,90kn / $1.80 / 1,20€) is a gorgeous blueish-grayish shade, but it brings out the blue color a bit more. 03  Love Me Tender (8,90kn / $1.80 / 1,20€) is an odd olive shade which looks a bit like old gold, or something like that. Don’t know really how to describe it differently.

Since summer is already here, I decided to show you some of my favorite highlighters, plus some new products I got recently which are LE (essence & catrice) and I don’t know if they’re available anywhere outside Croatia. They do look gorgeous so I had to include them! :)

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR Multi-usage dry oil with golden shimmer

For some reason this product isn’t really a camera-lover so it looks in my swatch as it looks, but believe me – it’s really gorgeous in person! It’s damn expensive but worth every penny and it can be used everywhere – face, body, hair! It shines so discretely and it looks perfect on skin which got a bit of tan. I got a bottle which contains 50ml (there is one with 100ml) and as I said, it’s expensive – almost $40!

Artdeco Perfect Teint Illuminator

Not sure why I included this product in my post, but it might be of some use to those who love something to illuminate their skin with no shiny particles and this product is perfect for such use! I use it pretty much all over my face. It costs approx $20, but I don’t know how much it contains (that’s written on the box which I threw away).

Sephora luminizer

Unfortunately, this product is discontinued but I had to mention it because it SO gorgeous! I love to use it pretty much everywhere because it can be applied really lightly, just to give that subtle sheen you need from time to time. I also use it with my liquid foundation when I want that dewy look on my skin. It was a bargain when I purchased it since it was on sale – for $5 or so and it contains pretty much – 15 ml.

I don’t think the true beauty of this products is shown on my swatch but it has these pink, purple and blue shimmer! It absorbs quickly so the only thing it leaves behind is gorgeous shine! Unfortunately, it can’t be used on face which is why I purchased it but didn’t read that warning until I got home. Blah. Anyway, I’ll be using it on my shoulders, that’s for sure! It retails for $7 and it contains 85 ml of product. This is LE and at the moment it’s available in dm drugstores in Croatia.

essence Sun Club highlighting powder 01 summer glow

This looks quite dark and dull in the packaging but once applied it looks just amazing! I think this is perfect for tanned skin but it can be used during the whole year since it can be applied really lightly without looking dirty or anything like that. It’s really cheap, a bit more than $5 and it contains 6 gram of product which seem a bit too little to me because it looks like it contains much more, lol. Anyway, it will last forever! :)

catrice Enter Wonderland highlighting powder 01 Fairy dust

Accidentally I left this product for the very end but it is definitely THE highlighter for me! Yes, I got it just couple of days ago but I’m already in love! If you can get your hands on it – definitely get it because it’s GORGEOUS! It has this pinkish-golden sheen which shines gorgeously on my skin! I’m thinking of getting another one, just in case I hit the pan with this one :D It currently retails in Kozmo drugstores in Croatia for approx. $7 and it holds 10 grams of product.

Since this collection is available at the moment I wanted to post my swatch so you could purchase it (as far as I know, this is available now in Croatia but it’s been a while since it was available in Germany / Austria).

I really love it since ti applies smoothly, it can be used with any blush and even all over your face if you’re pale enough. I also love the packaging and the design of it – I almost couldn’t force my self to swatch it, lol! :D

It retails for $5 / 3.5€ and it contains 10 grams of products.

As I said yesterday I think – I can buy only one item from each LE collection (if I even want to buy anything), so from @holografics.com collection I got this gorgeous body oil! Unfortunately, it can’t be used on face, but I’ll use it on my shoulders instead.

I’ll post my swatches tomorrow, I’ll try to take a photo at direct sunlight so you could see how gorgeously it shines! I was thrilled! Also, it’s non-greasy and it leaves a gorgeous shine with pinkish and purple and blue shimmer.

It retails for approx. $7 / 5€ and it contains 85ml! I also love the packaging – it looks so fancy!

As you can see on my photo, Artdeco #27 isn’t really a proper substitute, isn’t it? It’s more intense dusty pink shade compared to best friends blush and as you can also see, best friends looks like it has a bit of peachy color in it when swatched next to Artdeco #27.

Still, though #27 isn’t the same color, I think it’s a lovely true dusty pink color which is well pigmented with silky texture. It costs approx. $11 / 8,9€ and it contains 5 gram of product. If you love such shades I totally recommend it!
