e.l.f. mineral blush – Joy
Eyes, lips, face or shortly – e.l.f., is a cosmetics brand launched in the U.S. in 2004. The *thing* about this brand is the fact they don’t have any products priced over 5$ in the U.S. while in Europe they’re not priced more than £3.50. Unfortunately, US site doesn’t ship outside the U.S., but we can order them here. e.l.f. has 3 product lines – ‘regular’, mineral and studio line. The last two are better than the regular line so I recommend products from those 2 lines if you decide to shop their products.
At the moment I have 2 mineral blushes – Joy and Bliss, a this is the review for Joy. I love the design of these blushes. The packaging is simple, minimalist, plastic but well done. These jars are with sifters which prevent too much blush to fall out since this is a loose blush. The texture is amazingly gentle and silky, blends easily. Usually mineral blushes are highly pigmented so you have to be careful when applying them cause you don’t want to apply too much of it.
Joy is a dirty pale pink color with a hint of purple in it. It has a tiny shimmer which isn’t visible immediately but it shows up on the sunlight. When applied i has a frosty finish and at the same time silky. This blush is available at the price of £3.50, for which you get 3,4 g amount of product. The ingredients are 100%y mineral, with no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes.
