Yes, I have plenty of red lipsticks. And yes, it’s never enough. :D But, after testing many red lipsticks there’s something I can say – this is my favorite red shade. And, not only red shade but my favorite lipstick in general. I wish all lipsticks had such formula. If they did, I’d have a huge collection of lipsticks. :D

I received Illamasqua Box to create Illamasqua holiday look back in December and since then I’ve been using it a lot. I was thinking of purchasing it but for some reason I decided not to and now I have to say I’m SO glad I received as PR sample. I’ve been using it lately a lot so I dinally decided to share my review with you.

This is a bit drier formula (but not too dry) and though it is drier I don’t use any lip liner as a base before applying it since after hours of wearing Box doesn’t make my lips drier. Beside that, the color is also long lasting and after 4 hours it looks just as I’ve put it on. Also, it’s amazingly pigmented! Amazingly! I apply it by outlining my lips first with a thin brush (nail art) and then I apply lipstick directly onto lips. I am careful while appling it since it’s not that easy to remove if you make mistakes and apply it outside your lip line. :)

The only minus with this lipstick is probably the price. Almost $30 which really isn’t cheap but I think it’s worth every penny. If you’re into red lipsticks this will be your *red* shade. Trust me. ;)

At tuesday Artdeco launched their new collection called Kaviar Gauche which is a result of collaboration with Germany designers called, well, Kaviar Gauche. This event was special because Derek Grillo, their international makeup artist – head of international training arrived to Croatia to introduce us to this collection.

I have to say that Derek is really a wonderful person and so pleasant! It’s such a delight to talk with him about makeup! And I have to add that not only he’s a great MUA, he’s also excellent when it comes to foreign languages – he speaks 7 of them (if I remembered it right)!
Anyway, it’s so great to listen to someone who loves makeup so much and who enjoys his work as well. :)

Of course, he told me so many things but, one of the most important ones is actually what he showed me and that’s the Dita von Teese Collection which looks really amazing! Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any photos since it’s top secret yet, but here is some info of what it includes: 12 eyeshadows (6 matte, 6 glitter), 4 blushes, 6 lipsticks (amazing!), 4 nail shades, false eyelashes, etc.
After everything I saw, I have to admit that Artdeco couldn’t choose anyone else for collaboration since this is an amazing one!

Beside this collection I also saw and received some products from their upcoming collection called Color Mania for which I showed you a sneak peek right here.

Anyway, didn’t mention my role in all of this! I was Derek’s model for Kaviar Gauche collection which was really exciting since these colors aren’t those I would use personaly but it is interesting to see the final look on me. And of course, I’m amazed with Derek’s look! He’s a great MUA and I hope I will have the opportunity to work with him again!

Few days ago I got few new hair products and two of them are these from Garnier natural beauty range. I think this is something new since I haven’t noticed them before.

Anyway, I got shampoo argan oil/cranberry and balsam vanilla/papaya. The only thing I can say about them is – I love it!  My hair so soft and smoothe and it smells delicious! And the most important thing – nothing irritates me which is a big deal.

I also got my first hair mask I think – L’Oreal Arginin Resist x3 which apparently is perfect for weak hair like mine. Anyone tried it?
The only thing I can say at the moment is that it smells so gorgeous that I really want to bath in something smelling like this mask! :D

This collection has arrived to Muller drugstores so I figured it was about time to post my swatches and photos. I think this is one of those few posts where I had to re-swatch everything for about at least 3 times! But, hopefully this will be okay. Unfortunatelly, I still haven’t swatched shimmer from this collection but will try again tomorrow. :)

This collection includes 6 nail polish shades where one of them is regular black shade which is a base for the other five shades.

Here are nail polishes applied without any base, 2 coats. Taken in natural daylight.
As you can see, they are quite sheer and to be honest, I don’t like them this way BUT…

… here they are applied over black nail polish as a base and as you can see – they look stunning! Last 3 shades are my favorite ones. :)

And, here is how the shimmer looks like. I felt so bad about swatching it but I did eventually and too bad that my photos didn’t turn out well. :( btw. this green color is just over-spray, it’s gone as soon as you touch it. :)

And, I’m ending this post with a bunch of gifts I’ve received from a dear friend of mine! Not sure when and how I’ll test everything but thank God it’s weekend! :D
