I think my photos and swatches turned out pretty well, I’m really satisfied and I think you can get a pretty good idea about each eyeshadow. I personally like 95% of these eye shadows, and the 5% are those I don’t even use (not my colors) so I’m not sorry they’re not pigmented. :D All eye shadows have been swatched without any eyeshadow base.

So, if you’re looking for many shades at one place – this is the right palette for you! I got mine on eBay for $15, and you can still get it. :)

So, if you like Halloween, here’s an idea – Dark Fairy look!

I’ve used only few items to create this look, here’s the list:

• black eye pencil (any)
  
• black gel liner
  
• silver glitter (I’ve used TMM Leucite)
• 3 eye shadows _ light and dark silver, black (mine are from 120 eyeshadow palette)
  

Brushes I used:

• angled brush
  
• flat eyeshadow brush
  
• blending brush
  
• mall brush for some details
  

I’m not sure how long it took me to create this look but I think it took me about 45 minutes. I am a bit slow because I haven’t used makeup for some time. And though it looks simple, the most hated part for me was drawing on my face and neck. I’m really so NOT talented for such stuff! :D

Also, this look isn’t complete since I don’t have long and black hair, but I did as best as I could with what I got. :D And now, let’s get to some photos!

I know this is really a bold bright look and it is really not for everyone, but, since the contest is about summer I wanted something really bright on my eyes and I think it worked!

And here is my 1st makeup tutorial (I don’t count that eyeliner tutorial)! You’ll notice how the colors aren’t equal on every photo since I used my boyfriends camera which I don’t actually know how to use so I have to learn how it actually works to get decent photos the next time. So please,  I hope you won’t mind that too much. :D

This is the look I’m going for (no flash):

1. start by applying your eyeshadow base and MAC shadestick over it (if you don’t have MAC shadestick use a jumpo pencil or something like that)

2. in the inner corner of your eye apply shade #1 in combination with shade #2 and blend it out towards the middle part of your lid

3. apply #2 and #3 in the middle and blend it out towards the outer part of your lid

4. apply #4 in the outer part and on the crease and blend it nicely towards the middle part of your eye lid (as you can see, here is the color difference I was talking about :/ )

5. on your lower lash line apply Rituals Intense Color Eye Pencil

6. apply essence cool breeze eyeliner over Rituals Intense Eye Color and make a small peak at the very end of it

7. in the end, apply your black eyeliner on your upper lash line and apply your mascara too (this was taken with flash)

And, that’s it! Hope you liked my tutorial! I know it’s not perfect but I’ll get there as soon as I figure out how my camera works. :D

I’m simply wearing neutral colors on my eye lids and then I apply a petrol or green or any other color on my lower eye lid simply too brighten up a bit my look. Maybe sounds boring, but it is a interesting though very simple look. And also – it takes just a few minutes to get ready!

• 120 eyeshadow palette (semi-matte beige, matte light brown)

Since I’ve already used this palette in my looks, it’s time for me to write a decent review for it. For a long time I’ve resisted to purchase it, but in the end I simply gave up, LOL. :D I really thought I could resisted, tried to convince myself I don’t need it, that I have enough eyeshadows, etc. but then – I bought it, find it somewhere on eBay and clicked on Buy Now.

The measurements of this palette are 23cm x 15cm x 1,8cm, and each eyeshadow is 1,9cm wide. As you can see on my photos, the color choice is really amazing and this palette is definitely something that those who love colorful and vivid looks *must* have!  I haven’t tried all eyeshadows, but the ones I have tried (most of them) are indeed pigmented, vivid, no fall outs and they’re unbelievably long lasting for a no name palette.  The packaging isn’t that good – there’s a risk of eyeshadows getting destroyed while traveling (mine came with 3 broken eyeshadows but I don’t mind since there are 117 left, lol). But anyway, the packaging is perfect if you’re traveling somewhere and you don’t want to carry many makeup with you.

I’ve noticed some people are bothered with its quality, actually, they think this palette isn’t eye safe or something like that, but I know that many of girls I know own this same palette and none of them had any problems. My eyes are sensitive to some eyeshadows, they get irritated, but I didn’t have such problems with this palette. I know it’s also a huge hit on eBay and it’s not for no reason. :D You can get it for only $15.00.  I got mine here.

To make the long story short – I recommend it to all of you who like vivid and pigmented eyeshadows, this palette is definitely worth getting!
