Bright Purple Summer Look!

Here’s another makeup look for Sigma Makeup Summer Look Contest, and this is my 2nd entry! Today I chose purple color… I don’t know, I felt ‘purple’ today. :D So, here is how it turned out!

What I used:

(I’m sorry for the 1st picture being a bit blurry :/ )

What do you think? I really love purple and for years I used to use *only* purple eyeshadows so I have plenty of them :D Do you love purple eyeshadows? :)

Bright Blue Summer Look!

Here’s another makeup look this week! I haven’t been posting them in a quite long time and now there’s two of them in the same week! :D

This look was created for Sigma Makeup Summer Contest and you can read all the info about that contest here.

So, here’s what I used:

EA Intervene #02 Soft Shell
120 eyeshadow palette
Sephora flashy liner – blue
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
MAC Paint Pot in Delft
Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Mascara
Oriflame Booster Lipgloss in Red Currant

I know this is really a bold bright look and it is really not for everyone, but, since the contest is about summer I wanted something really bright on my eyes and I think it worked!

Tutorial: green bright look

And here is my 1st makeup tutorial (I don’t count that eyeliner tutorial)! You’ll notice how the colors aren’t equal on every photo since I used my boyfriends camera which I don’t actually know how to use so I have to learn how it actually works to get decent photos the next time. So please, I hope you won’t mind that too much. :D

Products I used:

catrice eyeshadow base
MAC Shadestick in Penny – link
120 eyeshadow palette – link
catrice pencil eyeliner black
Rituals Intense Color Eye Pencil – link
essence long lasting cool breeze eyeliner
Maybelline Volum’ Express mascara

120 eyeshadow palette – shades I used (click for bigger pictures):

This is the look I’m going for (no flash):

1. start by applying your eyeshadow base and MAC shadestick over it (if you don’t have MAC shadestick use a jumpo pencil or something like that)

2. in the inner corner of your eye apply shade #1 in combination with shade #2 and blend it out towards the middle part of your lid

3. apply #2 and #3 in the middle and blend it out towards the outer part of your lid

4. apply #4 in the outer part and on the crease and blend it nicely towards the middle part of your eye lid (as you can see, here is the color difference I was talking about :/ )

5. on your lower lash line apply Rituals Intense Color Eye Pencil

6. apply essence cool breeze eyeliner over Rituals Intense Eye Color and make a small peak at the very end of it

7. in the end, apply your black eyeliner on your upper lash line and apply your mascara too (this was taken with flash)

And, that’s it! Hope you liked my tutorial! I know it’s not perfect but I’ll get there as soon as I figure out how my camera works. :D

Mostly neutral look

Here’s just a quick of my yesterdays look. This is how I mostly look these days cause I’m too lazy to apply decent eyeshadow. :D

I’m simply wearing neutral colors on my eye lids and then I apply a petrol or green or any other color on my lower eye lid simply too brighten up a bit my look. Maybe sounds boring, but it is a interesting though very simple look. And also – it takes just a few minutes to get ready!

Here’s what I used:

120 eyeshadow palette (semi-matte beige, matte light brown)
Sephora flashy eyeliner in green
Maybelline Colossal Volum’Express Mascara

And, here is something not related to my look – my fresh hair color! :D

EOTD: Blue up!

It’s been a while since my last makeup look, so here’s just a quick eotd. Unfortunately, only one photo turned out well, the other ones weren’t just good. :/ I hate when that happens. I’ll try to make a tutorial these days, hope it will be successful!

Beauty review: 120 eyeshadow palette

Since I’ve already used this palette in my looks, it’s time for me to write a decent review for it. For a long time I’ve resisted to purchase it, but in the end I simply gave up, LOL. :D I really thought I could resisted, tried to convince myself I don’t need it, that I have enough eyeshadows, etc. but then – I bought it, find it somewhere on eBay and clicked on Buy Now.

The measurements of this palette are 23cm x 15cm x 1,8cm, and each eyeshadow is 1,9cm wide. As you can see on my photos, the color choice is really amazing and this palette is definitely something that those who love colorful and vivid looks *must* have! I haven’t tried all eyeshadows, but the ones I have tried (most of them) are indeed pigmented, vivid, no fall outs and they’re unbelievably long lasting for a no name palette. The packaging isn’t that good – there’s a risk of eyeshadows getting destroyed while traveling (mine came with 3 broken eyeshadows but I don’t mind since there are 117 left, lol). But anyway, the packaging is perfect if you’re traveling somewhere and you don’t want to carry many makeup with you.

I’ve noticed some people are bothered with its quality, actually, they think this palette isn’t eye safe or something like that, but I know that many of girls I know own this same palette and none of them had any problems. My eyes are sensitive to some eyeshadows, they get irritated, but I didn’t have such problems with this palette. I know it’s also a huge hit on eBay and it’s not for no reason. :D You can get it for only $15.00. I got mine here.

To make the long story short – I recommend it to all of you who like vivid and pigmented eyeshadows, this palette is definitely worth getting!

Green Makeup Look

Yesterday I was in a great mood so I decided to go with a vivid green makeup look. It looks a bit too vivid, didn’t think the colors would be so highly pigmented but I was too lazy too change my look after I finished it. :D

Cool Purple Makeup Look

Today is really freezing outside so I decided to go with a cooler look today. I do use purple often, but not these shades. Anyway, I’m glad I finally tried my 120 eyeshadow palette, it was worth it! Colors are amazing, easily applied, simply they look perfect!
